    thnx guys. he is really really shy still. I TRY to take him out and get him used to me but he SPAZZES!!!!! out. to the point im afraid he is gonna hurt himself. but i try. i atleast try to touch him in his cage to get him used to me

    If it isn't happy when you pick it up you need to take smaller steps. Start by sitting with your hand in the viv just holding it still until the little scrub accepts your hand, hopefully it won't take too many weeks before it actually comes to check out your hand. I find doing this while there is the smell of food in the air helps.
    Once he accepts your hand in the viv without stressing you then move on to pick him up but keep your hands in the viv at first, then move out of the viv and lengthen the time you hold. With nervous ones you need to build the trust, and doing it slow is the best way to do it.
