    cannibalism?!?!?!

Ok I know what someone is thinking it has just escaped but I am 100% sure it could not have gotten out. My baby was there last night but I went to cleam them out today and one was missing. There isn't any buldge or anything and I was wondering if there are accounts of cannibalism among our favourite speices? I have never had a problem housing them together before .

Was only about have an inch shorter from the same clutch and everything. I know that some are less stressed housed together which is why I do. I have had other garters without issue. It's just depressing and upsetting really.

If he just ate the other snake last night and they are close to the same size you would for sure notice a buldge!

Did seem abit fatter but not overly. Okay scratch that this is a definite case of confirmed cannibalism in chequered garters. She just regurged part of a tail. This is very upsetting

Ok this had to happen at least a few days ago because it would take a few days for the stomach acids to digest another snake like this! I just hope she gets the rest of it out or it could be bad news for her. Good luck! I don't think this snake was a canniball, but probably got a scent of food from the other one. How long before this did you feed them?
