Someone posted this guy on a corn snake forum thinking it was a corn... (which it doesn't even faintly resemble). I proposed thamnophis, but was unsure of the particular species as it does seem abberant. Any thoughts? It was found in Texas.

Youre probably right. I still am stuck on how clear that dorsal stripe is though.... Dekay's seem to have mottled or loosely defined dorsal patterns...

I'm a recent storeria convert myself. Very cool snakes. Still not sure about that dorsal stripe though... I'll wait it out a bit!

It's certainly a Storeria. and yes they do have dorsal stripes. Ranging from very pale (difficult to see) to very profound white/grey.
They are great little snakes that are very tolerant of humans.
