Hey, I have two pinkies and my snakes sink their teeth into them all the time.

aha! watch there be zip restrictions. Thing is how often do they offer free shipping? and in this instance I think I have about $21 to my name and it's in unverified paypal account. They won't let me transfer it or even spend it anywhere but ebay.

Quick question: How long will pinkies keep in a regular home freezer? Also, what are the dimensions of 100 pinkies?

They will keep up to a year I would think. Look online at Mice Direct, they usually have a weight and visual comparison on the website.

Mine keep about a month before I have to start cutting white parts off or throwing them away. I'm sure if they were vacuum sealed a few in a package (like use a foodsaver) they would keep longer. They just don't hold up well if air is touching them, and that includes air pockets inside a sealed package. In other words if you throw them in the freezer the way they come, with all the air and space in the bag, they won't keep long. They freezer burn about as fast a pork chop placed directly on the shelf without wrapping it.

You should have that freezer checked unless about a month is a year

    Re: Pinky Mice Sale

It is checked. It's not the forced air or chest kind. It's old school coil type. You know, the kind you have to manually defrost every so often (not so often for me since I only get into it about 3 or 4 times a month) It's an upright bigger than the kitchen fridge/freezer combined. The metal shelves are what absorbs heat. I keep only meat in it and temperature is about -6 F.

No meat keeps worth a damn if it isn't vacuum sealed to remove all air from the package. I don't care what kind of freezer it is. I don't put meat in the other smaller one because something as small as a pinky would thaw in it when it goes through that stupid self defrost cycle. So, in the big freezer at temps that low, pinkies freezer burn in no time. I would absolutely have to vacuum seal just a few in individual bags or they will freezer burn, and I do the same thing with my meat. Just try keeping anything good in a self defrosting freezer for 5+ years. But at -6 and vacuum sealed, it could be in there 10 years and comes out as fresh as it went in. I just can't put anything in there with air in the package. Especially pinkies.
