r what the pet chains call rosey reds safe to feed???also my keeper youngster only has eaten live fish so far,,id much rather have this little one on pinkies,,so I just scent with fish and go from there,,or im thinkin I should just try the pinky pieces plain,,,any thoughts

Rosy reds are on the blacklist.

A steady diet of Rosey's can be bad. Check out the care sheet and look for thiaminase. Plain or scented you'll just have to see what works.

To switch over to pinkies try using some guppies or platys how you normally feed but also put in chopped up pinkie and the snake should grab it mistaking it for fish n eat it anyways. next time do less fish n mostly pinkies..
Try earth worms or nightcrawlers as well. Most garters go nuts for worms!
