    Wink Hey hey hey

    Hey guys...

So I am new here also. Happy to be here! Right now I do not have any garter snakes but hope to get one or two in the near future. Already have 2 corns, a kingsnake, a hognose and a boa. Also have tarantulas, geckos, birds and a dog. I am the president and Founder of Lake Norman Herp Society that meets in Statesville, NC. I do a lot of education with my reptiles... manly for people to know what they are getting into when getting a new pet reptile. Would love to have a garter snake to share with them as well. (As no one in our club of about 15ish reptile lovers even have one.... 2 members have had them before but not at the moment.)

Can't wait to learn more about these awesome snakes!

Welcome aboard. If you educate people with your snakes you need a garter . You'll certainly learn a lot on here on the forum, and if you have any questions just ask.

Welcome to the forum! I really wish we had an active herp society around here. We have some listed, but apparently they are inactive. Maybe when I finish school I will try to start one. Glad you are doing your part to educate people on snakes! There are some members on here from NC...perhaps they can help you acquire a garter.
