Pinkies

Ok. I'm trying to find a local source for pinkies. There's someone close to me but they rarely have mice pinkies. They have rat pinkies and African soft furred pinkies. I was told the African soft furred pinkies are the same size as mice pinkies. I know the rat pinkies are too big unless I cut them up. Any thoughts on whether or not these work for feeding garters?

I don't feed anything with fur. Lost a couple snakes to fur impaction.

So I guess the African soft furred are born with fur? And normal rat pups too?

No idea but I think a member a couple months ago had a thread discussing them. I'll see if I can find it and post a link.

I guess I'm just wondering if they're not born with fur why you'd have trouble with fur impaction. I did find a thread from a couple months back but it didn't give much info. Maybe there's one I missed though.
