Dimensions for a 10g tank. Ekoh will outgrow that tank pretty fast

These dimensions are a 20g High tank... A little bit more room but will be outgrown pretty fast...

Just kind of a heads up I guess not really much to worry about, but they do like to have room to explore and roam around

ok i looked for aquariums but all i really seen was ones have a cabinet built under them or odd sized stuff where is a good place to look for tanks...and is there a site where you can put the dimensions in and it will tell you how many gallons?

Re: new pics of Ekoh and her new tank and set up

hey guys i got a question about a wet hide. ive got a small round deli type container but im thinking it might be a little small. i got 2 things an old white plastic tylenol bottle its a big one that hdd 500 caplets. i also have a tall clear glass jelly jar. what i want to know is if i should use the plastic or the glass and then if i use the glass one could the outside be spray painted black so its darker inside. im thinking the one im using now might just be to small because she will go to it but wont go in at all, or she just might not like the wet hides unless she is going to be shedding.

Hmmm...well, if you do use the tylenol bottle, make sure to clean it out really well with hot soapy water...you don't want the chance of any of the tylenol being left in there. I have no idea about using spray paint and if it is safe. Pringles cans work nicely for a dark hide and you can just put some moist moss inside. She is a lovely snake btw. I would suggest using the feed tank with just some paper towels on the bottom when you feed. I try to avoid feeding on substrate whenever possible...now, if she won't eat in the feed tank...as some snakes don't respond well to being moved...put a couple of paper towels down on top of the reptibark and then use a paper plate on top of that to feed...that is what I do for my snakes who only will eat in their tanks. Then, supervise eating so that she doesn't try to drag the food under the paper towels.

Oh...also...plastic storage bins with locking tops work very nice for feeding. You can get them at dollar stores or Kmart for cheap. Just watch when you lock the top...I have had a couple of near misses when snakes try to jump out and get their heads over the side as I am putting the lid down. I always make sure no heads are near the top before locking the bins.
