Got asked again to relocate some friends.

This I presume is a male? Was about 22" long and about as thick as a garden hose... adult I think

Neighbor asked me if I knew anything about snakes and thought she found a rattle snake so I ran over there and sure enough here he was.... Just periscope-ing in the yard lol hahaha I was like oooook a rattler yep thats what this is! No just kiddin then I grabbed him up... Its a garter snake, I'll take that thanks!

I took him to a crop field near by with a stream and a good section of area to roam and get lost and claim as home....

Before I let big guy go... I took a look around... where you find one there may be more! Sure enough... under the rain catch below the gutter I found this I presume to be female...

No tail photos yet, almost the same size as the male but much smaller in girth with a longer tail... and she kind of felt rough and looked like she had a rough previous shed in some spots... I gave her a big moss hide... nice big water dish and the home the 3 amigos stayed in to watch her for a while...

She was actually found in the same place under the exact spot where I found the other Radix's.... There seems to be a problem over there, but since this snake was in the EXACT spot I figured it might not hurt to put her in the same tank with the same furniture... I have her in there now and I have cleaned it thoroughly except I did not change the aspen bedding completely as I did not have enough on hand.

But I think she may stay for a little while to see how she progresses from here...

Will be staying as well... and given a chance to thrive... little thing is mostly exhausted and immediately drank some water when placed near it. It seems like it needs to eat and I have quite a few night-crawlers.

They are not just snakes. They're garter snakes.
