Scent of a Radix Whoo-ah

This is our favorite girl Lucky (T-radix, Plains Garter) with her new friend Midnite. Both Lucky and Midnite have be out of the breeding loop for 2 seasons. Midnite didn't waste anytime getting to know Lucky. After taking this photo I had to move Lucky away from the bottom of the door. I lifted both of them out of the way. Midnite didn't stop working during the move. There hasn't been a lock-up yet.

Got to admire the bravery of the gutsy little males when they get locked in for a roller coaster ride of their life.

I love the look on their face as they are being dragged. They look at me like I can help.

Midnite seems to be playing the field a bit. Apparently Lucky was cooperating so he's now courting Lucky's daughter LG. While he was doing so I was in that paddock to feed them. LG was more then happy top eat while he courted her but Midnite couldn't be bothered to eat while he was on the job. Good male radix.
