    This time of year

After being gone most of the summer it seems as though the snakes are coming back to the back yard. I wonder if I have a mini-migration here. They do like to winter under the pool walkway and under my sunroom floor.
This guy (t.s.sirtalis fat with belly full of toad) was sunning himself next to the pool this morning. Love the dark color with the copper sides.

as far as the Sirtalis goes mine almost escaped today....
I had to fix the top to the Viv. and had it off for maybe 10-15 minutes,
and I come back and there she was on the floor, but she had no where to run and just wasn't fast enough so I grabed her real quick and put her back........

p.s. she was very pissed off about that it seemed because soon as I put her in the Viv. she started trying to bite me......
