New to the forum
Hi there
For those who know me on the frog forum, im Bombina bob. today i found a western terrestrial snake and have him set up in a five gallon tank with paper towel bedding, (theres no pet stores or breeders in my area that have garters) water bowl and two hides with some decor, the tank is at 80 degrees at the hottest. ive tried to keep garters in the past without success but i want to try again. The snake is a neonate about 8 inches long and has a scar on his subcaudal scales, i wont have to worry about feeding for a while but im just wondering what you guys have done to get baby snakes to eat?

Re: New to the forum
Welcome.
You might want to up the heat to around 90°. The increased temp will help in the feeding dept.
I'm not very familiar with that species so I'll let someone else give you some feeding advice.

Here's a link to the forum care sheet also.
