Today I noticed that, Harley's skin was flaking off again, but mostly on the tail (when I removed the shed I didn't remove the tail or face scales) and revealing healthy skin. Right now I have her in a small tupperware box with water in it; I read that putting them in water like that can help remove partial sheds, as their own bodies eventually provide enough friction to get it off, so I figured this was close enough to that situation.
Additionally, I noticed when I put her in her water dish today, that some other scales from her body were flaking off and floating about in the water.
Her face continues to annoy her, and she rubs at it a lot, but it is not the gaping/stretching motion of trying to stretch skin on the body, you can tell she's just rubbing her face.

Do you think this may be a sign of improvement? The skin on her body is still very wrinkly and loose, and the scales are still very soft feeling. I'm hoping that this is a sign that the old shed I initially removed was taken off before it had time to constrict the body (you can tell the face and tail are being somewhat constricted by the old skin at this point). What do you guys think? Any ideas what the prognosis is if I am indeed just looking at severely damaged body scales and not damage from old skin fusing to new on the body?

If she happens to look like she's going to have another actual complete shed and the body scales have not hardened up, I will be taking her back to the vet to see if he can assist in any way. But for now this seems localized to the areas that were not removed.
