    Nessie, the Texas Monster

image.jpgIt's been a week since we found Nessie in the pool, she (we are sticking to she for now until we can get the sex actually determined) has been doing very well, she has been eating out of our hands, and has been very adventurous in her viv. She is currently eating 2-3 small earthworms, and 2 small guppies, she appears to be growing well when we found her she was approx. 8 in and now she is about 10, and a little bit thicker than a pencil.

She is very sweet, she loves to hang out in my husbands lap and just watch everything going on, she is very curious. But her favorite place to be is in her pool, she had a bath this morning because she popped in her clean water, so we snapped a couple pictures

Well, Nessie is starting to go blue in her eyes, so I'll be watching for her first shed since we've had her. I'll post before and after pics too

Our sweet Nessie finished her first shed yesterday, it was a complete head to tip with everything in between! I was so excited to finally get pictures of her all nice and shiny
She is getting much longer and is still very fast, but eventually calms down and likes to hang out in our hands.
