Beautiful wee snakes...and I agree as to the feeding responses! Mine were a nightmare to keep calm during dinner. Frenzy doesn't come close to describing the scene!

Are yours from Sjoerd as well? If so, I think we need to ask him what sort of mind altering drugs he drops in his infernalis' water before he ships out the scrubs.

Yup...I too have had a few close shaves with feeding. Mine are mainly feeding on pinkies, as they won't touch fish in any way. They also love worms so I alter between the two. I would prefer to include fish in their diet as with my other garters, but they won't take them. Their feeding response when I put a pinkie on the tongs is phenomenal; blink and it's gone!

Funny... Mine took fish immediately but needed a bit more work to get them to take pinkies. Now they wolf down whatever I put in front of them - smelt, trout fillet and pinkies - and they aren't fussy when I dust with calcium and vitamin powder.
