I would say that hopefully some of them would see how those snakeskin handbags are produced and not buy them. Unfortunately I don't think that thought enters the mind of most women who carry a snakeskin bag. Originally Posted by -MARWOLAETH-

I'd rather see the invasive snakes in Guam being made into leather.
But then im not against responsible and scientifically managed hunting or harvesting of any animal. Id just like to see it well thought out and in the best long term interest of the animals and habitat.
Sustainability is a hard grail to chase, but a worthwhile one, I think.
