I bought him as a birthday present for my partner, he has wanted one for decades! hes waiting a few days to see what his personality is like before naming him, the idea is that he will be allowed to fly fee in the lounge once he has settled (dog and cat free zone!)

Cockatiels aren't that bad. It's love birds, parakeets,(true ones, not budgies) macaws, cockatoos and other large parrots that are loud.

Funny story about Tank ( Chelydra serpentina - Common Snapping Turtle)

This evening I was getting ready for bed when I looked in on Tank who was in his water. I usually put him to bed on his dog pillow but he looked comfortable so I went off to bed. 12:30am my daughter Emmyjo wakes me saying "Tank won't listen to me and go to bed, he wants you" Upstairs I went to find Tank on his pillow. Emmy said every time she covered him up he came out from under the blanket and roamed the living room. She said now that I was there he would probably go right to sleep. I got down on the floor with Tank and explained to him it was time for bed. I covered him with a blanket and he was asleep in a matter of moments. Emmy laughed and said he was playing games with her until she woke me up.

Crazy Tank just wanted Dad to tuck him in. Funny spoiled turtle.

416.jpgDSCN3588.jpgDSCN4454.jpgphoto(20).jpgHere's some of my other pets. One terrapin abandoned by a lodger, Autumn my second hand bullmastiff, bonkers one of my five guinea pigs, the only one patient enough to be dressed up for a competition and one of my four African land snails given to us when it was just an egg from a parent of one of the kids friends. I also have six corn snakes and a cat when he decides to be around, he's very much a free spirit.
