Some neighborhoods in Denver have a feral cat problem but the hippies won't let anyone touch them. Fortunately they're restricted to the relatively small areas where coyotes can't get them.

Those damn hippies again. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry made a proposal for a non-native species strategy and the animal welfare nuts got their collective panties in a twist over every single example given of especially harmful invasive species (cats were included) and came with the most ridiculous dismissals of the damage they cause. Their hearts may be in the right place, but their heads sure as hell are firmly planted in the wrong one.

As much as I love cats, I'm still all for extermination of feral ones.

Oh and we don't have much of a feral cat problem. Cats without owners tend not to survive the winter. We do have people who get cats for the summer and then just dump them when summer's over.

Wow, excellent camo. Found it but it took 10 minutes of magnified searching.

Now that I know where it is I feel stupid for not seeing it in the first place.

And I spotted it almost immediately. I think if it was coiled up it would have been harder.
