    Re: what are you reading?

I have an e-reader on my phone but I just like good old fashioned books. Must have my books bound...and prefer them hardbound as a matter of fact. Another book I keep trying to read is The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. But I saw the beginning of the movie and it was so flippin tedious...I turned it off. Now I can't read the book.

Keep trying. The first 50 pages or so are hard to get thru but then it really starts to reel you in. I found the swedish names hard to keep "reading". Book is better than movie only because they can't fit in everything that is going on with the characters in the movie. I have read and seen all 3.

I like all those books that you can pick up at most commercial pet stores that tells you how to take care of a certain reptile pet. Any of those are cool.

I wish I owned this book or was even reading it at this point. I did have it checked out from my library but it was on loan from a college so my time with it was short.
    Awesome book.

I am currently reading "Lizard Tales: The Wit and Wisdom of Ron Shirley". If you guys know the show Lizard Lick Towing, it is from Ron from there. It is a good book, I would recommend it to anyone who watches Lizard Lick Towing.

You Sir, have expensive taste in books. I just had a flick through a few pages on Google Books, it looks like a good book. If I could spare around £100 I'd add it to my bookshelves.

    Re: what are you reading?

    Reading at the moment:
Necronomicon: The Best Weird Tales of H.P. Lovecraft (Commemorative Edition)
Jaakko Hämeen-Anttila: The Handbook on Islam (roughly translated)
    Magnus Ranstorp: Understanding Violent Radicalisation

    Reading next:
Mark Jaffe: And No Birds Sing: A True Ecological Thriller Set in a Tropical Paradise

I have 20-30 books in a pile that I saved after my grandfather died. All sorts of stuff, from On War, by Carl von Clausewitz, to books on the Russian language.

And I have 3 more books on the way:
Les Stroud: Survive!: Essential Skills and Tactics to Get You Out of Anywhere - Alive
Sam Harris: The Moral Landscape: How Science Can Determine Human Values
George Albert Boulenger: The Snakes of Europe

    Re: what are you reading?

That's some 'heavy' reading there, Stefan. The only title I've read on your list is Boulenger's The Snakes of Europe.
