Freaky. Can you continue to keep them together or will they eat each other?

Oh, and how many of those babies did you say you were going to send to me?

These are actually a communal species. I will probably raise the whole group together.

Tell you what Richard, Ill send you the whole group if you send me a handful of your concinnus. Deal?

More people should post pictures of their inverts and their set ups

I've been thinking about getting a mantis or possibly a T.

Pop on over to Wayne's forum. My Pet Forums They got a section for everything. I think they want to keep focus on garter snakes here.

Re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

So, I've acquired three feeder guppies.....I found a pet store that has feeder guppies, so I bought ten. They were so teeny(like 1/4 in long, maybe) so I gave them all to Proximus, because I know he loves fishing. The first time I fed him was two live rosey red minnows(before I found out they weren't good...) and he loved it! Well he went crazy, but ended up leaving three.....I left them till the next day, and he still didn't eat them! I felt so bad, and I thought about giving them to Tallie, but by that point I guess I was emotionally attached to these three.... One of them is actually really pretty. I think they're all cute, but one actually has pretty colorful markings and a spot on it's side, instead of being all gray(you can't tell his markings in the pic, he's one of the smaller ones)

I'm curious though, I've read and was told they can be ok without an air filter, bubbler thing. Is this correct? They've seemed to be ok so far. I've only had them since Friday night, though.

Without a charcoal or under gravel filter I would think that ammonia/nitrates and other toxins would eventually build up in the water unless you change it frequently. Also, without aeration they would use up all the oxygen in the water. They're tropical too, so water temperature needs to be 75-80 F.

Re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

They said at Petco if you change the water every week, they will be ok, and that they don't produce alot of waste. But aslo this was Petco......It sounds like it might just be easier to get the filter, even if that is the case, and I'll go ahead and get an air thing.

    What've I gotten myself into....
