I hate to pick favorites, but I voted concinnus. I'd also like to include a write-in vote for easterns, pugets, similis and all of the other thamnophis

Almost put down red sided, just cuz I've always loved them, but didn't.

Also I retract the "that may change" statement I made, they'll also be a favorite of mine. Hope to expand my red sided collection as much as any species..

but I just gotta choose concinnus due to personality among other things, and mostly the fact that my favorite snake of mine is my concinnus, Rooster.

I love concinnus also. They're pretty cool snakes.

Well, I voted for Western Ribbon. I really only know my two garters. My ribbon was my first one and he's just a little girly boy, and I love him I'm really loving Tallie's personality, she's more bold, I guess you would say. Not as skittish as Proximus, and I really like that considering she's still a little baby. But I think T. p. orarius will always have a special place with me

My vote was for red-sided as their attitude just wins for me ... I was torn though ... my favourite phenotype is definitely concinnus.

ordinoides because they're so variable in pattern and colour and they have cute little heads and bobble eyes. It's a crime they aren't common in the hobby.

Re: What is your favorite species/subspecies of Garter Snake?

My favourite individual snake is my female T. equis cuitzeoensis, so I've voted "other". She's followed by radix, but infernalis are up there based purely on their good looks (I'm reserving judgement on their personality).
