    Wendell and Zack

My heating pad died last night, so I rigged up the dome light with a 40w bulb this morning. (It was that or a 75.) The squints climbed up to enjoy the warmth, as the rest of the house is only 69*!!

    Beautiful! !
Adjusting sizes and numbers of bulbs is my primary method of adjusting daytime heat levels. 69 isn't a bad nighttime temp.

What is a good night time temp ? If I see it gets to about 18C (64.4F) I put the heat pad back on.Is that all right.

Wendell is the coast garter, he's the darker one. Zack is the erythristic (red colored) eastern.

BTW, I moved my temp probe to the top branch, It's measuring 82*. Don't think I'd want anything bigger than the 40w...
