    Wow, I never would have thought that behavior was due to mites. Never had them. (knock on wood)

    Closest thing I've dealt with are really big mites/ticks (Not sure which) on WC spiny lizards. Those don't seem to be a problem. Easy to get rid of with just a piece of dog flea collar placed in the tank (there's a right way and wrong way to do that)

    I have had mites before on both snakes and lizards. Not a fun thing, but provent a mite will be here tomorrow and in a few weeks I am sure to be mite free. To be on the safe side nothing will get sold until next year when it warms up anyway
