Glad to hear you found him!

About a month ago I thought a baby garter had escaped, but it turns out he was just hiding under the newspaper layer I put under his carefresh.

They can be sneaky wee bums when they want to be! My friend had one of those poly back ground things with a corn in....Searched the whole house, ripping the bottoms out of sofas and everything...It had just hid behind the back ground, she wasn't too happy!

Glad it turned out OK. But I have to mention that it doesn't matter if the cat "eats" the animal or not. It's in their very nature to at least "play" with it, which usually ends up resulting in the death of the animal. Also, if a cat really, really loves their human family/home, they will often bring LIVE, although sometimes fatally injured animals home and present them to you.

Did I mention I am not a cat person? I don't hate cats at all. I just know their nature and I dispise it. I love animals, even in their "undesireable" nature. I just wouldn't own one. Cats, even at their best, are still cats. Know what I mean?

If you don't understand read this: http://www.angelfire.com/fl/EeirensF...ionandFox.html

The other variation I like better ends with the scorpion saying "it's in my nature"

Cats are very incompatible with my main interest in animals. And those are, Birds and Reptiles.
