….is having babies as I type this. Can’t see what is going on, her head is sticking out about 5 inches from under her hide. Little wet babies keep crawling out. No idea how many yet, at least 20 so far. Going to try to beat KIKAT’s 41. There are some very nice looking little snakes here.

Very cool Terry, wow.....80 babies!!!! The 6 garters and 8 thayeri are keeping me really hopping, can't imagine another 66 on top of that!!!

Yah it can be a bit of a challenge, but most will be released within a few days. I do have a new mystery though. I went down into the basement this evening and there was a baby garter scooting across the floor. I don't think it is one of mine (not that I counted them). That is the second free roaming baby that I have seen, so I suspect that I have a snake under the sunroom floor that has given birth. I may have to set up the "bait lamp" to see if I can lure anything up.
