Smile Feeding frequency & hunger behavior

I'm trying to get a feeding routine set. I have fed my large Eastern female a medium mouse weekly.
She is pretty agitated for 72 hours if held. After that time, she is more tolerant of handling. Is weekly feeding the correct feeding frequency. How do your snakes behave when hungry - Striking at cage, other ??

I feed adults twice a week.
I would also like to point out a concern. I used to feed adult(fur-bearing) mice to some of my adult radixes. Then one had a fur compaction(blockage) and she died.
Now I feed nothing with fur.
    Just thought I'd say something.

Agree with Steve on the no fur thing... Rat Pinkies maybe a better option.. I cannot rightly comment on how often to feed adults, as None of mine are adult sized. I also feed a mix of worms n pinkies with a few fish treats (none of mine like fish much I end up with lots of leftovers)
