I've noticed that aquariums are quite popular with most of the American and Canadian members.I thought I should see what all the fuss about and try one of these out as a viv.What is it about them that makes them so popular?
Does anyone in the Uk know where I could get an aquarium with a decent mesh top?Or would I be better off with a vivexotic?

Well they are really easy to get here in the US and relatively cheap also, that would be the main reason why people in the US have them.

Yup, that's hitting the nail on the head. Cheap, lots of people buy a fish tank think they will enjoy having fish... then don't enjoy having to clean the tank and sell it cheap. They are readily available n cheaper then front opening enclosures.

If I were you William, I would get the vivexotics. I've never owned one but on many forums I see people post pics of their vivexotics set-ups and they look amazing. I also love how they are stackable. I wish I could get them here in the states.
