But I get it now. I remember learning that some whales(and I thought some snakes?) have vestigial hip bones.

Re: How about some pics of your other pets

Here are some of my other pets. I do have a 5.5 gallon fish tank with feeder guppies. But no one wants to see some silly fish.

Yeah, please do. I find them to be rather unsuited for most captive situations. They need a lot of room and rather high UV/ heat and low humidity. I mean strictly hot dry desert or they just don't make it. They also need to hunt a variety of insects all day, every day, to meet their high energy needs. Even when all that is done, then they just constantly bump the glass or root their noses raw trying to escape anything but huge enclosures. Does she lay there a lot with her eyes closed like that? That's the first sign of trouble. She should be alert and constantly on the move. Just saying, they're not easy and if she's listless...

Been down that road and they usually die slowly.

Re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

Thanks a lot for telling me about the spider hiding in the woman's ear. Now I will be sleeping with ear plugs! I have a friend who said he was sleeping with his mouth open and woke up with a spider in his mouth. Ewwww....

Mike decided to mess with me the other day when I was talking about possibly having bedbugs and told me I might have a spider nest in my bed somewhere! That's fine Mike...if I see another spider in my room...I will be packing up my stuff, the kid, and all of the animals and coming to your house!
