    Final step complete!

Well yesterday I'm happy to say that ALL the garters took unscented pinky parts. This is great, they're all doing really well and one is actually in shed right now (still even ate like a pig in shed!), so can't wait to see how he looks afterwards. I'm actually really surprised how easy this was, expeceted it to take much longer....but really happy it didn't.

Congrats, I have one of my maritimes eating scented fuzzy parts, but the rest of the babies will only eat worms. Looks like I have some work ahead of me.

That's true. One of the easterns will sometimes eat fish, but none of the other snakes will, That just seems weird to me.

One of my tetrataenia won't touch fish......she gets all excited and investigates it, but just won't take it, as if her mouth is sewn shut!!

What do you try to feed them? I know if I put live pieces of worms in there they pretty much destroy them before I can put my hand in there. lol

    Re: My New garters

Yeh, my one problem feeder eastern opened up and started eating really well after giving him some small worms. Less then a week later he's taking pinky steaks. I did end up loosing the one maritime that I was trying to force feed. So out of four maritimes and two easterns, I'm left with two of each. But at least the four I've got are well on their way now.
