I have seen nightcrawlers flatten their tails out on a regualr basis. not unusual for that to happen

@ snakeluvr...they can flatten quite a bit indeed! and they can reach very nice sizes! And, to make things even better, they have a Ca:P (calcium : phosporus) of 1:1!!! very good for bone development!

I ran across some huge earthworms in Kansas.....average around a foot long, was riding with my stepdad at night (he's a police officer) and thought I saw a small snake on the road, went back and it was a big worm...I went to pick it up, I have never seena a worm spaz out like that!!!!! I'm used to normal nightcrawlers, but these worms were almost spastic when you touch them!! I know the red siders there chow down on them!!!
