    I've always found with albinos that its all about the eyes.

    Is that correct? I thought albinos were amelanistic and melanistic was the opposite, with a more than normal amount of black pigment. I'm probably just reading it wrong, or does the melanistic mutation pretty much colour the whole snake black and the amelanistic then removes the black pigment? I'm pretty rubbish with genetics but this got me interested
