OMG! Emily...she looks just like my Presley!

003.jpg Sorry about her passing. That is so hard. My lab, Kaela, passed last January. I still get very upset about it.

    Kaela...RIP....

Re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

Aww!! They're both very cute! Presley does look alot like her, but he looks like a LH Chihuahua, Bertie was actually a Pomeranian, just a very small one(4 lbs.) That's really cute with him and the kitty I'm sorry to hear about Kaela. She looks like a really sweet girl! Very sweet face.

It can be very hard to lose them when we get so attached. But I know that they go to a good place, where nothing bad can happen, and we will be reunited with them again some day. I work at a dog boarding/grooming facility so I know 100000000000000s of dogs and have had to try to get used to hearing of them passing pretty often. It seems like average is about 1 a month(3 this month), whether they got sick, old age, etc....It's never too easy though...

The little bird is doing well and I have no idea what it is. It is a very aggressive eater and bigger then most grackle babies. Eating many worm and pinkies.
It's already able to roost. I've never had a baby bird roost with just pin feathers visible.

Any I.D. help would be great.

He really is a cutie! Glad he's eating and making progress. Any chance he could be a blue jay?

Do you have cow birds in your area? The babies have legs stroñg enough to push other nestmates out and they are verb very aggressive. Eaters. They make pretty good pets too. (Id never release a cowbird to go parasatise more songbirds, if indeed that is what it is.)
my friend raised hers on canned cat food IIRC.

Beak doesn't look right for a cow bird. Time will tell though.
