    Re: Getting plumpy

So Blade did a strange thing tonight. She did a few frantic laps backwards in her tank and then went in her hide. I tried to see if she was ok, but she twitched her neck at me when I touched her so I left her be. You know that thing they do when other snakes slither on them and they say"hey I'm a snake, what are you?"

A little sample of her backwards laps. Happens about every 2 to 3 minutes. Has anyone seen this type of behavior before? I'm not sure what Willow did last year, I only saw Willow after she started delivering.

Mama did something similar when she was gravid. She didn't do the tail twitchy thing that Blade was doing though.

She is so restless, she yawned a couple times. I know she's tired, and so am I, but I don't want to miss anything if she delivers. I have a tank ready for babies, if there are any. Fingers crossed!

No babies yet. Still doing the backwards thing. Going back to bed. Bill has "Baby Watch 2012".

Still no babies. I'm at work until 5:30 and don't usually get home until 6:30. So I'll update then. Poor girl. She is so restless and agitated.

Maybe she's just doing the snake moonwalk

Really though, hope something happens soon, don't like hearing of them being uncomfortable
