Some random pics (Puget Sound and Eastern)...

One of my three female Puget Sound garter snakes is the ideal snake.
You never have to feed her, because she is self supporting. She eats her own body...
I had all the time to take a few pictures; it took her a few minutes before she realized this was not going to work...






And some pics of a line I hope to start breeding in 2014. I have 1.2 of them and they get prettier and lighter colored as they grow. Next to that I love their eyes!
I am very curious how their kids will look...

It is an Eastern garter snake.
Looks a lot like those of mine. On the first picture it looks darker.
In my case the father was a flame bred by Alan Francis and the mother a melanistic bred by Steven Bol (originally from Pelee Island).

What a goofus Puget! She's beautiful btw!! And the eyes on that Eastern are ridiculous. I'd love to see if that gets past to her young.
