    Why?

    this past week iv noticed that my snake has been moving around alot more and trying to escape. why is it doing this?

    They are just like people, they get restless sometimes.
    For gravid female it can be a sign of impending birth.
    A change in weather can also trigger this kind of activity.
    Many different reasons for this kind of thing.

    Yes it could. My snakes seem more active with a change in the weather or seasons.

    Well, if the snake were a male, I'd say it might be looking for a mate Houdini starts that every spring/summer and it goes on for several weeks before he calms down.

    Maybe he's going to shed? I don't know about snakes, but I know my Blue Tongued Skink would go crazy before she shed. I didn't notice that behavior from my snake though....
