    Best starter Garter?

    Hi

    What is the best starter Garter if there is such a one, I am currently looking at a chequered Garter.

    the one im starting with is a checkered but im not to sure myself if there is one lol

    You are somewhat limited to what is available to you but Checkereds (T.marcianus) are a sweet snake.

    i bourt it privatly of preloved nice snake and like steve says they are limited and hard to get hold of quite a few types

    Here in the states I highly recommend a t.ordinoides. They are a smaller snake and the sweetest things ever! Super cuddly and great personality. Over there though I'm not sure what is available but checkered are super sweet also!

    I second that sentiment but don't think they are available.

    I'm with Kat, but I don't think they've been over to the UK. I bet if you find a radix (plains garter snake) Steve would say that those are the best to get!

    I got me marcianus from 888reptiles.Good site there and they look after their animals and know what they are doing.
