Why they are called Jelly Beans.

This morning I was greeting my largest group of female T.radixes when I saw a jelly bean in the PINJOHN hide.
This hide is the property of the "Enforcer". It's a tri-fold piece of packing cardboard I received in a shipment from John(R.I.P)
When I opened the hide I found the Enforcer in there along with these jellies. 3 were not intact but the rest looked like this.
These would have been Enforcer's first babies. I feel bad that I missed the opportunity but am glad she was able to push them out without any difficulties.

That's a fair pile of jellies, shame your Enforcer won't be giving you baby radix this year.
Nice that she is the resident of the Pinjohn hide.

Sorry to hear she didn't gives you any little radix scrubs. Glad she passed everything though. Thanks for the pic, I'm sure I'm not the only one who wondered what they looked like.

Here is a different look at some jellies. These came out in a more gooey state. Gooey, funny word.

Found a few jellies this evening. The tops were drying but the bottoms were still tacky to the touch. I'm guessing they were a few hours old.
Not sure which of my girls is responsible but it's right on time with births on the Ranch.
I think there will be a high mortality rate for wild born this year. We have another 7 days of near 100°F temps on tap.

Jelly beans! Yum! Good luck with your future births on the ranch. Ian Malcolm of Jurassic Park once said that "life will find a way". I'm sure those wild radixes will do their thing just fine.

Eww...to the gooey pic. Lol. I have never seen jelly beans...cool pic. The most I have seen from any of my snakes is the stillborns Cee Cee delivered. I have never witnessed anyone passing any type of jelly. Good to know what to look for.
