*Grackle Update*

These little squawk boxes are really growing on me. I took them out in the back yard today as it was a warm day and I though they might make some friends and return to the wild. I spent sometime with them then decided they needed to be on their own. I went back in the house but kept looking out to see how they were doing. At one point I could no longer see them and got worried. I stepped out onto the deck and yelled "where are you guys at"
I no sooner got the words out of my mouth when these two knuckleheads came bounding out of the tall grass in the shelter area. Both screaming and looking at me.
I can't believe I'm going to say this but "I love these little birds" As I type they are in their bowl sleeping like babies. They will be quiet all night until they hear my voice in the morning. Then the fun begins again.
These birds were named by my son Kale.
