I live outside of Montgomery Alabama...We have lots of coloubrids and venomous snakes in my yard because it is located on a pond and in the woods.....I mainly see copperheads, cottonmouth, rat and corn snakes and the occasional garter in the bushes....I think they are the Thamnophis sirtalis

    Re: Hi I am new

I am going to wait till I get to move from where I currently live (roommates are terrified of snakes) I think I will get a radix though....it seems like it would be the best fit for me and I want a male.....Where is a good place to buy from....I have lots of bearded dragons and know the good from scary breeders but I don't know anything about the snake world.....I do not want to buy it from a superstore type place....I like family-type breeders

We have some great breeders on the forum. You might look in the classified section and contact them from there.
T.radix is a good choice. A very good choice. In my opinion the best choice. I could go on but I think you get the point.

thanks....I will definitely check the classifieds here prior to purchasing one....I don't really care how much the one I pick cost to a degree. I just want the one that I find the most attractive whether it be the cheapest or higher-grade...I will do some research and then look into purchasing one.....Right now all my disposable income has gone into dubia colony haha I have spent more on dragon food that myself x10
