    Officially saying hello to everyone!

I have been forum stalking everyone for the last week, signed up the other day when my 7 year old son and I talked the wife into keeping the newest member of the family. That would be the cute little guy/gal set as my avatar, found wild in the yard on the 5th. Thanks to some help from Jeff B of Garter Snake Morph and the forum I've learned that I have a T+ Nebraska type. No idea on sex yet but the snake does have a name thanks to my 3 year old daughter.... Butterscotch. I'm cool with it as long as Butterscotch ends up being a female, if not we may need to come up with something else. I had box turtles, frogs, and lizards as a child but never snakes because mom always said no. But, my greatest love affair from afar had always been snakes. And since moving into our current home six years ago, which is apparently garter snake central, I've got to enjoy them every year in the yard. This is the first kept for a pet so learning as we go. Great forum to do so and you all seem very passionate, helpful, and educated with what I hope to be the beginning of many years of enjoyment. I already have a growing wish list of new members for the family if all goes well with Butterscotch. Can't wait to get to know some of you better, especially my fellow forum members that live here in Iowa.

Wait until you meet Steve... He's up to his eyebrows in Radix, and he's practically your neighbour.

People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually, from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint, it's more like a big ball of wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey stuff.

Welcome to the forum family! Yes...you and Steve will have a lot to talk about. Apparently Iowa is the place to be if you want to find wild garters! I think I need to move to Iowa...

welcome to the forum. That's a great find, Iowa is definitely a better place to find garters than the middle of England...

But I don't think they have Easterns.

    EDIT: Actually, yes they do.
