re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

I think Tank has bonded to me as he stays around me when I take him outside and he comes out of his enclosure to sit with me on the floor.
I'm not complaining as he is a joy to have around.
Not sure how that's going to work out when he's 20+ pounds.
Here he is looking for me. As long as I stay near him he's fine but sitting on the couch is out of the question. Too far away.

It's snapping turtle mating season and he's not getting weird with me so I think this is a good relationship.
He's doing a lot of shedding and requires daily skin cleaning which means hands on. I had to clean his eyes and face the other night and he offered no resistance to my work. I've worked with many snapping turtles in my years and this one is truly amazing. A hands-on snapping turtle that allows you to keep your fingers.
I wish you all could meet this wonderful turtle. As I type this he's on the couch sleeping.

As long as he doesn't mistake you for April O'Neil, you should be fine.

Just don't wear any yellow jumpsuits.

Be careful. These creatures have been known to cause feedback loops in the space-time continuum. Only Bill Murray seems to be able to overcome the effects of the tachyon shift and thus be able to recognize it and restore normal space-time.

i'll see what i can do about hamburg. most of the shows i go to allow the public to bring in an animal as long as it's not aggressive and you have to keep it on yourself. no promises, i'll see how it goes. but, he'll be with me until one of dies, so if you're ever down this way, lemme know! and i'll have to figure out how to do a video.
