my weiner dog got stuck between the two front legs of this big stuffed horse that my neices have. poor fella, he was running in place between them, lol! he needs to go on a diet.

oh and the darndest thing popped up on craigslist today.. a prairie dog.. a male(which is what i wanted).. about six months old.. with a cage!! for $100!! i wasn't going to get one because i didn't want to have to buy the doggie, buy him a cage, buy misc supplies for him... but, i simply couldn't pass on this deal! haha, and just the other day my brother was asking me if i was still getting one. i really couldn't afford it after paying for my cats procedure. just the anesthesia alone was almost $200, then there's the antibiotics he's been on, the meds after the procedure, office visits... not complaining, he's completely worth it, all my animals are and i'll do anything for them, but it kinda set my disposable income back a bit. i told him that there's always next year. well, looks like things just fell into place for me

i talked to the lady about him for a little while. he's super tame, loves to play with dogs, loves stuffed animals, loves to cuddle and uses his litter box. it's her sons, but she said he has so many pets that the prairie dog is getting neglected and they just want him to go to a good home. no problem! a good home i shall provide i pick him up tomorrow. it's about an hour away. i'm super excited, lol! his name is scamp. i'm trying to decide if i should call him something else or not...

anywho, i'll be posting some pics of him once i get him home and settled down. can't wait

New to the forums(and the hobby) thought I would join in........so her are my other pets my kids name all the pets after Dr Who characters so here is my son Joes garter first

She is called Martha (Dr's assistant) (Martha the garter)

Then there is my wifes Guinea pig

He is called Rory (Dr's assistants husband)

The family cat

She is called Stormageddon (Dr's friends child) we call her Stormy

Then there is my King snake

Where I broke ranks and named it Neo while watching a certain film.

Now Mike...My son and I were discussing your wiener dog last night...I told him about the situation with him getting stuck between the legs of the horse and how he needs to go on a diet. We were thinking...if you just leave him stuck like that...he would probably run the fat off in a day or two...ROFL. (We were seriously rolling on the floor laughing while discussing this!)
