New members with zero posts

Folks, I cannot help but notice that several of you are quite eager to check out the users listed on the front page "Welcome to our newest member" as I see other user names under profile visits.

This is fine in itself, but whenever there are internet links in the person's profile please do not click on them.

#1. if you do, then the spammer successfully put their intended advertisement in front of you.

#2. if the link redirects you to a malicious script (A.K.A. Virus) who knows what could happen next.

This has been said before, James brought it up long ago, Stefan has brought it up since.

Please wait until a new member has made an approved post on the forum before worrying about greeting them.

That allows the staff to review the new member's intentions beforehand.
