    Banana

My florida albino female reminds me of the "bananna" gene in ball pythons. They both have similar pastel yellow, orange, and purple, with black spots scattered around randomly. The main difference is that the banana is co-dom and the florida albino is recessive, but that is typical for both species.

What's the little lump towards her tail in the first photo Jeff? Is it just the remains of her last meal?

    Re: Banana

I'm going to assume she's gravid and those bumps are just the little eggums/babies in her. I could be horribly wrong though.

    Re: Banana

She is likely very gravid right now, however she is one of those garters that when she gets excited or nervous (like when she is being photographed) she kind of flares up below her neck and also gets that muscle knot farther down. She has always done that since she has been a baby. I have had several garters that flare up like a cobra and tense up their muscles when they are scared or nervous, she's just one of those personalities. Nothing wrong with her, she is perfectly healthy, eats great, and is very tame now, although she used to be very defensive.
