    the snake past away after i tried feeding it pinky mice parts.. would that have anything to do with its death? i was doing every thing i was told to and it was healthy and all

    I doubt that had anything to do with it.
    Babies are fragile in a tough sort of way. The first year of life can be very unpredictable.
    I have babies that are doing well and then die suddenly.

    I wouldn't blame yourself...these things happen unexpectedly as Steve said. Sometimes we do everything we can and nature has other plans...you tried to take care of the snake the best you could and that is what matters. Thank you for trying.

    Sorry that the little scrub didn't make it. I've lost two baby checkereds, one of them just didn't start eating, the other was doing okay, but had spinal problems. Horrible when it happens.
