Cute face, and I think I see the puffiness. Its not an eye infection coming on?

I don't think so...his whole face has looked odd like this for a while...it looks exactly like it does before a shed...but he just shed.

Its something that probably needs to be watched cause eye infections are not fun. Hopefully its not cause my older Leo had an infection in her eye and it took forever to clear up and left her blind in an eye.

He is wonderful! I'll have to get some good close ups of his sister.

Can't say I see any red flags.

    Re: Marnie's Snakes

I'm sorry...I just realized that I wasn't specific when I posted the pics and some of you may not have been following my thread the last couple of days....I posted the pics of Hermes because I am concerned that he may have retained shed on his face...or something going on with his face. It has looked odd to me for a while...like it does before a shed yet it did not go back to normal after his last shed. So I wanted you guys to look at the pics and tell me if you think his face looks abnormal...if you think something is going on. Sorry if I was unclear before...thanks.

oh okay thanks...I don't really know what looks abnormal for albinos yet...so, I needed some other opinions.

The face looks like a normal albino checkered. I can't see signs of a retained shed (although a closer macro shot would be good in case you're seeing something close up that we can't see in the photos) and the shape of the face is pretty much what Binky looks like all the time, I'm not seeing any puffiness.
You'll get used to spotting when something looks wrong soon enough. One of the things I like about having different species is that you can appreciate that they are different shapes and proportions, and some have prettier faces than others.
