Coincidentally, that's what I tried to name my first garter back in 2005. Couldn't get used to calling it anything, though.

Wow, that's responding to an old post Stefan, no wonder I didn't remember reading it recently. What brought on the 6 month time slip?

Agreed, hence they shouldn't be used on forum.

Means "Rolling On the Floor Laughing, But Somehow Still Typing". I stole it from one of our British comedians because I thought it was a good observation on most chat room/text talk abbreviations.

I don't want to come over as some old git with a downer on the youth of today (I am, but that's not the point in hand ), however surely we want to keep the forum as a fun, but grown-up, place to converse - as opposed to lowering it to text-talk, abbbreviations and teenage profanity? The youngsters who stop by the forum can make positive contributions but let's not kid ourselves, the wealth of knowledge is held in the heads of the older members and if we dumb down the conversations we will loose more valued contributers (I could name at least one person who made positive contributions who isn't posting anymore).

Just my two-pennies worth, which is not to thinly veiled as being targetted at Jesse in particular.

I agree with you Chris and feel your post is worth much more then two-pennies.

Finally got around to uploading Rooster's, that took way too long, sorry.

Not quite sure what's up with the black bars but at least this time we can view it all the way up to 1080 HD. Looks fantastic on an HD 16:9 monitor at full screen. Stunning!

There's still something going on in Movie Maker that's causing it to not be at full frame size. I assume it comes out letterboxed before you upload to youtube? If I was more familar with that program...

Well, believe me, there's a setting there somewhere causing the black bars. Just need to find it. It's called "letterbox". Find the settings. the video is the right dimensions to fill the entire frame but it keeps getting letterboxed for some reason.

Thanks and yeah still kicking myself for the non-HD that was like the first time I ever used movie maker and didn't know to export it in HD might re-upload that one.

No, it isn't like that before upload But thanks had no idea what it'd be called that helps. Like, a lot. xD

Oh, and that last one isn't viewable on mobile. :/

I would think it's viewable on mobile only at the lower resolutions.

Are you sure you are not creating a letterboxed 4:3 aspect ratio WMV and uploading that? I think you are. Always use 16:9 when creating your WMV. Read this:
