Usually predators. Crows seem to be a major one.
I only saw a few that weren't killed by crows.

I see that here too. Luckily the crows don't seem to mess with the healthy snakes. They pick off the weak and sick ones that didn't fare well over the winter. They can spot a snake "limp" from a mile away and those are the ones they go for. I also noticed they like to pick out certain organs and leave the rest.

I want to go so bad...it's my dream trip! Someday...I will get there. People dream of going to Hawaii, Italy, Tibet, Machu Picchu...I dream of going to the Narcisse Snake Dens! (Of course I wouldn't mind going to Tibet or Machu Picchu either...)
