The biggest difference is they like their food hot! I've got his UTH temps set a little higher too. My hoggie lived in a 2.5 gallon tank for the better part of a year! He was tiny!

Tank left his water while I was out shopping. He made himself a cave to sleep in along the couch.
    This is one comfortable turtle.

We will all work around him this evening. Wouldn't want to disturb him.
    Growing monsters need their sleep.
He'll probably come out while we're watching a movie.

    Thanks.
He has that affect on people.
Most docile and interacting turtle I've ever seen.
Worked with a lot of turtles in my 53 years but never one like this.
    Everyday is an adventure.

I love it when animals lay with their feet like that...it is particularly cute seeing Tank do it!

re: Other pets (pics and discussions)

Tank gave me a bit of trouble tonight as he wanted to only sleep along side me on the floor.
I tried a few other location to no avail.
He's a spoiled rotten turtle and I wouldn't have him any other way.

He finally settled on his blanket in front of his enclosure. 4 hours later that is.
Never a dull moment with Tank.
