    Re: Movies & TV shows

This is not a favorite movie or TV show more to do with what may be a personal weird ism, but i think this might be the thread it belongs in.
I am hoping that non of the members after reading it decide to call up my local sanatorium and get them to send around the men in white coats
every time i am watching an American movie or TV show that involves the countryside then i am paying more attention to the terrain than the actors, I am thinking that looks like prime garter territory, i wonder if there are many in that area, and other similar thoughts, I am looking for bodies of water ponds streams lakes to support my fantasy's, western's in particular are prime ground for my psychotic musings, the older the picture the more it draws me in, as because of development lots of prime habitat has been lost, places like the Gene Autry ranch which was broken up and sold off to the building developers .....the movie might be supposedly set in lets say Arizona but we all know that they are usually shot elsewhere so you cant know which type of garter would live in the area being shown...but it doesn't stop me guessing.
I cant in this case blame approaching senility because i have had this habit for more years than i can remember ....the reason for coming clean is i decided on a site full of garter nuts there might be.. just maybe..someone who is subject to the same delusional behavior, and i wont then be all alone in this vast universe.
    I'm not actually a gynecologist...but i'll take a look.

Rofl...you got it bad brother! I do remember recently watching an episode of a show I watch...and the characters were out on a boat at night and they found something in the dark...and my first reaction was..."Is it a snake?"...and then I was like "What...where did that come from?"...lol...The funniest part was...turns out it was, in fact, a water snake... I have not noticed what you are experiencing however. I do find myself doing it in real life though. Now...whenever I am out anywhere...I look around at the environment and wonder if there could be any snakes around.

    Wayne's World 1&2
    Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
    Highplains Drifter
    Indiana Jones Trilogy
    The Professional
    The new Sherlock Holmes movies
    Braveheart
    Anchorman
    The Name of the Rose
    Star Wars movies

looking forward to The Hobbit, but the dwarves already look completely stupid and gimmicky so no high hopes there. Especially after the Lord of the Rings movies.....I grew up on the books and it hurt to see them butchered just to make a few extra bucks and make the story more suitable for the theater. what was up with the elves being soft-spoken nancies, btw? i don't recall Tolkien mentioning that they used conditioner twice a day and wore tiaras. they were burly, jacked bad asses that forged armor and killed each other out of greed, dammit. they didn't wear velvet sweater vests and use straightener for their 2' long silky locks. end rant.

My favorite movies are: Boondock Saints, Fight Club, Donnie Darko, The Butterfly Effect...I do really like the Lord of the Rings movies ...sorry...but my son and I like watching them. Movies are never as good as books..I know. Oh, Percy Jackson and the Olympians...the original Clash of the Titans...the special effects are so funny. And, I have this crazy obsession with First Knight.
